Ayesha hit it on the head--I went through the same thing, surgical biopsy and all only to be told it was a density--aka 'fat'. Well, yeah?!! But it seemed to take forever for my docs (and I worked for these guys, too) to report back with the pathology. Hang in there Clabert and Cynde. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

: Hi Everyone and especially to Clabert,

: I am leaving town today for one week, so will not be able to view the board or write.

: I wanted to let Clabert know that sometimes the mass that is seen in the mammogram is extra tissue. This often happens as women get older, the breast will develop layers of tissue. This was the case with me, and I went through the worst, waiting to find out. I had to have 7
: more xrays taken of one breast. My heart just goes out to Cynde,Clabert, and the rest of the family. Hopefully, this will be nothing more than extra, dense tissue. Also, she should "demand" to know the answer sooner. Hospitals can take their time, but really they can know what is going on within a day! I had to do this and the Doctor's honored my request. Sometimes we have to take action and let our voice be heard! May the Great Spirit bless the entire situation!

: There is an herb tea called "Essiac" tea. It is an old Native American remedy. You can find it in many of the health or herb stores. It comes from Canada. It is good to drink this tea several times a day (an ounce of prevention). Some people, not everyone, have had remarkable results with this tea.

: Talk to you all when I return,

: Ayesha
