: : Doc M is confused...so terribly confused, and when that happens
: : she can sound a bit waspish, so forgive me in advance --
: : but did not Robert F. say he was from New Jersey???
: : New JERSEY?? And he bemoans other people's misuse of
: : the King's English? As a former resident of that same
: : state, who had to work really really hard to rid herself
: : of the worst parts of that colorful native tongue (though
: : it does peek out on those rare occasions when Doc M
: : loses her temper) I say, whatchew been smokin', Jack??
: : Or Robert, as the case may be? LOL!! Fuggeddabautit!!

: : Doc M, whose ancestors paddled on over when the taters
: : ran out.

: Hey Doc!!! You oughta get together with our three roomies from Gathering! They be from the separate province of New Jersey also. Speaking of New Jersey, there was great debate as to the design of the star for their state in our flag. Some thought they should only have a half a star....as they never seem to really be quite a part of the rest of the country! Different language roots ya know ;0

: And dear, we hope those Huron just a keep on a-breedin' as we would sure hate to lose you and see you paddlin' back across the ocean because the Hurons had run out!

: Further, if you dont come to next gathering I am gonna drag you there by your cheap, frilly low cut petticoat. You split my sides when you are sober. I can't imagine what a hoot you'd be as we menfolk stand YOU a few rounds of good, potent purloined French peach brandy.

Dear Gnome Dome Gnome Dome:

All that nipping at the cactus juice make your posting finger
a little jumpy?

Now, don't you talk about dragging the good Doctor around
by her special decollete Huron's Secret petticoat -- you
know it gets her all inflamed and brings out the lurking
devils of her normally refined and lady-like nature!
*fan! fan! fan!*

I personally have always found it a laff riot that one
of the symbols on the New Jersey state flag is a
horse's head...I guess it's a little salute to all
the boys now residing peacefully in the Jersey Meadows.

Hmmmm...potent, purloined peach brandy, you say? A
persuasive polemic, my petite palaverer!

Doc M
