OK, Vita! Here goes:

(Be sure to print this out for future reference!)

In the blank field that says "Optional Image URL," post the URL of the image you want to display. Example:
http://www.whatever.com/vitaspage/nameofpicture.jpg

That's all there is to it! You just have to use an image that is already ONLINE somewhere...on your own page, or another webpage somewhere. I have a page on my website that isn't accessible to the public that I upload silly pictures to just for this purpose. Or sometimes, I post a snowglobe URL from one of my pages that IS accessible to the public. Doesn't matter. As long as the image is uploaded to some webpage, somewhere, it will work.

TO post a LINK correctly, though, takes TWO steps. One: fill in the "Optional Link URL" with the correct URL of the page you want folks to be able to visit. Example:
http://www.bluebirdsandrainbows.com

TWO: VERY IMPORTANT! Fill in the Field that reads "LINK TITLE" with a name of some sort for the link. Example: Marcia's Studio Page. If you don't fill in the "Link Title" field, nothing will show up.

Posting Links & Pictures 101 is now concluded!

*bowing to applause from grateful posters everywhere, I exit, Stage Left!*

MMMM
