: Hi Vita!
: : OK< it is simple but I am not getting.
: : Like this Front Page thing.
: : I went to tripod and built a site one two three, because Trellix is for dummies like me, then I got bold, ordered a FrontPage training CD, etc, opened Front Page on my computer, opened a theme, want to do dynamic html effect, follow instructions step by step, wel... the tool bar for the effects ... just blanked out. Now how am I to do my nicey nicey drop, swing left, spiral, swing right, blah blah blajh effect/
: : i mean MMMM, I got the training CD here, spent all morning watching it, and still don't get it! Girl, I am doing it step by step!!!!!!!
: As far as I know, it all depends on the server that you place your files on. We at the university work with Frontpage, but have experienced problems when getting files built with Frontpage themes. Apparently they are very geared towards a Microsoft Internet Server. They absolutely refused to work on our internet server. But maybe Elaine can give us some more information about this, since she also works with this software?
Actually, I did not even get as far as putting it up on any server. Just want to play with a simple page/theme.
It's great, I did the black background, added the graphics I want, and then... can not do the dynamic html thingy; the dhml or whatever the name is, tab comes up, but stays blank.
I reinstalled Front Page which means my whole system is about to go south... and still.
And you might read in another post, to Chris, my woes and NEEEEEDDDDD for a drink!!!!
Well, tomorrow, the Computer Guy is coming, he will help install some other things like Dazzle, etc. and I will just tie him by the ankles, and chain him by the waist to the chair in front of the computer... and WILL LEARN THIS THING!
Come now, Vita! You are just throwing a temper tantrum!
Live in love light and laughter
