: Hi ALL: Though I haven't posted in here in a long while, I have been a lurker every now and then. I may no have the right to post this but I feel I have to.

: Several people have made posts on this site stating how they and they're children hated "The Patriot". How it was historically flawed and it didn't match up to LOTM.....

: Well, I never!!!!!.....Look, Patriot may be not the most accurate film ever made, but it was entertaining, fantastic, and on-the-edge-fun for the entire 2:45! I loved this movie and didn't start tearing it apart as soon as I got out of the theater. Look, as much as I love LOTM we all can agree that the love story between Uncas & Alice was nonexistent! I mean he was willing and did die for her? Why?!!!!.....The movie didn't indicate thaey were in love! And there was absolutly zero character development, except maybe Hawkeye.

: Does that cause me the tear it apart?,....NO....I love LOTM and I love Patriot!!!!....I love historical pictures....Gettysburg, North and South, etc........

: Thank you for letting me vent. Now no more about how bad Patriot was. I won't hear of it....

Hi Norm,
I too enjoyed the movie, but I'm no expert on the American Revolution so have no way of knowing what was or wasn't historically accurate. Besides, for myself anyway, I was just hoping to see the movie and be entertained..and I was. I wouldn't, however, suggest seeing the movie with a headache. By the time you left the show, the headache would've turned into a migrane! Those guns!
