That is what I was thinking i.e. that the book author's got it wrong. I wanted to see if anyone else saw it.

By the way, when I first began watching LOTM, I thought that Mark was Sebastian Roche who was supposed to be Martin. Turns about that Sebastian's scene was cut. What a bummer!!
