Adele, as I am sure you are aware, there were American volunteers amongst those who flew in the Battle of Britain.....
but were you aware that ALL the pilots who flew in the Battle of Britain and stopped the Germans were AMERICAN pilots? Yup.
It's true. We just let you take the credit because you needed a morale boost in England. And, by the way, the entire ground crew was composed of gnomes.
