Since this board has taught me about everything from "tight weave" to bundling cloths,I'm hoping SOMEBODY out there can help with this.
I'm a Celtic music nut, and I have a compilation of songs done on the Green Linnet label. One of them is by the vocal group Cherish the Ladies. It is a set of Celtic singing and fiddle music called "The Cameronian Set." The first, sung part is called "Tha M'Intinn Raoir." The liner notes say this is loosely translated as "My Mind Tonight." I have looked hither and yon on the Internet to find a translation of the lyrics to this song. The album came with none, I can't find it on compilations of Irish songs on the net, and I even e-mailed the band through their Web site and they can't remember what it meant either. Anhybody out there have an idea? It's one of my favorite Celtic melodies but I'd love to know what they're saying in Gaelic.
Until then, will hum along and tear my red locks out...
