: : TGAT!!!

: : Yes, it was dear and beoved BJ! Oh my god, I was dying, I could not remember his name! And to think that I fell in love with him while he was singing this song on TV... my 2nd week in America, Mama sitting right next to me and laughing at my getting all red faced an starry eyed!

: : Thank you!!!!!!!

: :
: : : I'm sooooooooooooo much younger than the Aquarius crowd but my art teacher sang this over & over & over - I guess he liked it.

: : : ~~~

: : : B.J. Thomas -

: : : Raindrops keep falling on my head
: : : And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
: : : Nothin' seems to fit
: : : Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling

: : : So I just did me some talkin' to the sun
: : : And I said I didn't like the way he' got things done
: : : Sleepin' on the job
: : : Those raindrops are falling on my, head they keep falling

: : : But there's one thing I know
: : : The blues he sends to meet me won't defeat me
: : : It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me

: : : Raindrops keep falling on my head
: : : But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
: : : Crying's not for me
: : : Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
: : : Because I'm free
: : : Nothing's worrying me.

: Why Rich and Vita, you've brought some tears of joy to my eyes. B.J.'s song was my mom's favorite, and one of my earliest memories is listening to this very song with her in our living room. Living in a house with a thousand memories, this one is sweet. Thank you.
: Christina

Christina I have great RKFOMH memories too...like my first jewelry box (I STILL have it, like everything else I ever owned - pack rat that I am, look it up in the dictionary, you'll see my picture *snort*) played the tune when you opened it. And anytime I hear the song it immediately conjurs up visions of Paul Newman on a bicycle (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid - when I first fell in love with Bob.....L-o-n-g S-i-g-h!) I guess this will be the tune in my head for the day....

Have a good one,
Diana S.
