: I can't recall who it was ... Jo? Was it you? Someone, though, did point out, long ago, the sight, fleeting as it was, of a red bandana adorning the head of a man during the Elk Hunt scene ... in the woods, behind the elk. We did some "investigating" and, sure enough, there he was! The elk was filmed running in a large outdoors pen on Biltmore Estate. Apparently, there was a man in the pen with the animal to help keep him moving for the camera. Well, we've caught him!

: In addition to this capture, we added another page of images from the DVD, plus spiced up the existing pages with a few more. These are all from our previously captured images, nothing new in the way of requests ... will get to those down the road just a bit! (Note: in the shot of the marching soldiers, that's Soldier #2 just behind the guy in center foreground ... one half of his face!) Our Book Shoppe, in the Trading Post, has been overhauled & expanded to 3 aisles. The third, unstocked as of yet, will be devoted to the American Revolution. Check out the new additions to the shelves by using the graphic link on the Mohican Board!

: The Companion Guide ... stalled, as we await word on the River Walk situation. Contemplating making the Guide an on-line thing. I don't know. Some ideas brewing in my head. Meanwhile, we updated the "More On The Guide Booklet & Locations" page with a bit on the River Walk ...

: The 2001 Gathering ... inquiries do come in. From where we stand, nothing has changed. Still possible; nothing definite. A lot rests on a possible guest. If the worst happens, and we (Mohican Press) don't do it, we would still be happy to serve as an announcement forum via a Gathering Page, as in the past, if there were those who would be interested in organizing in our stead. PLEASE, don't read anything into the last statement. Just a thought to be put away for possible future use. As of right now, if there's to be one, we intend to be in the thick of it! :)

: The MohicanLand 2001 Calendar! A grand idea by Dana & Adele. I suspect they can't do it without your help, so ... help! They seek your contributions & ideas ... with this crowd, there certainly should be no shortage of either!

: I want to thank so many of you who have sent us gifts of appreciation over the past weeks since the Gathering. It has been amazing, and it's hard to find the words to describe how it makes us feel. Baby stuff, stars named after us, photos, DVDs, books ... incredible! Much appreciated, but really, all it takes, in the way of thanks, is to continue to be here! It ain't no fun alone. No danger of that, as visitation never dwindles, but it's always comforting to know the familiar faces, our friends, are still there ...

A whole pack of wild horses couldn't keep me away, Rich!

Thanks for the plug for the MohicanLand Calendar! This is going to be mighty interesting!
