: I'm absolutely confident that one of you can tell me in what order the songs on the CD should be played to match the sequence in the film. I've tried to figure it out, but my TV and CD player aren't in the same room, so it was a short and failed effort. I wasn't able to find it on this site either, though I'm sure that's my shortcoming and not Mohicanland's, which seems nearly perfect in every way. Thank you in advance for your help.

You're WELCOME, Grace ...

I believe Sarah M. does have the tracks listed in their approximate order in the Musical Musings (if not, we'll have to remedy the situation ... will check!), but here you go, just in case:

(Please note that it is actually impossible to get it all exactly as in the movie due to the "medley factor." "Pieces of a Story," for example, is just that, bits & pieces of music from here & there in the film. This is my version of the proper order!)

Main Title
Elk Hunt
Pieces of a Story (includes the Cameron's Cabin music)
The British Arrival
Cora
River Walk & Discovery
The Glade Part II
Fort Battle
The Courier
The Kiss
Munro's Office & Stockade
Parlay
Massacre/Canoes
I Will Find You
Promentory
Top Of The World

Again, you might like switching the order of a track or two to your liking. Munro's Office/Stockade could be moved up two slots, for example.

Anyway you play it, though, it sounds GREAT!
