Dear Gnome,

Not findin' ye at home, am leavin' this message on your mushroom stem in hopes ye'll find it before dark. I have need of some trackin' help from somebody who's a leetle closer to the ground than I am, and thought ye might could help me out. Been spottin' bear tracks in various places around town and need somebody small to follow them through the big blackberry patch behind Miss Gaylee's house to see where they lead. I'll be waitin' for ye at my cabin.
