: : : Hi Marcia,

: : : Interesting about the interviews with Maddie and the way she comes across in them. Are any of them online? I'd really be interested in reading them.

: : : Thanks..Jeri

: : Hi, Jeri...I don't know if you can find them online or not, but I wouldn't be surprised. I've read them over the last couple years in mags like Premiere, Entertainment Weekly, and other film mags. You might find you don't get the same impression from the interviews as I have, but to me, she sure doesn't come across as the class act that Cora is. And I really WANTED to be a big fan of hers...but unless she does another part with some real character to it, I'll just admire her for her work in LOTM.

: : Oh, another movie you might check stars Maddy & Kurt Russell & squinchy-eyed guy...ummmmm...senior moment here...oh, yeah, Ray Liotta. I THINK it's called Break In, but that might not be right. I would just rate it as OK, too. Unlike Rich, I don't tend to think of any of her movies as actual bombs, but I wouldn't give any but Twelve Monkeys a higher rating than a mere "ok." But, that's just on my OWN movie enjoyment scale. You might like them a lot better, so hopefully you can rent some & see what you think. It will be interesting to hear your point of view on them, and on any articles you can track down.

: : Good luck!

: The most recent, I think, is The General's Daughter, with Travolta. NS

China Moon should get an honorable mention! Madeleine stars with Ed Harris.
