: Yes, I don't believe it, but I really did it!!! Went and bid on this one! Dollars that I don't have! Well, I learned something in the meantime, since the bid had 5 more days to go, I would be able to put some money into my credit card, to pay for it, in case I really won....You know, I've spent a lot of money during my life... on things AND people that had nothing to do with ME - so this was only for the second time in my life that I went to do something totally SELFISH! WOW. I AM impressed with myself. The last time I did something similar was when I was ready to pay $500 for a Dreamcatcher handmade by Eric Schweig. Well, he was not interested in doing it, and that act of selfishness never came through, either.
: I believe it was a combination of the artist's power and of course the unbelievable physique... But we should credit the pose more than the physique.... Intense, powerful, and more than the Magua we watched in LOTM. Here, he was another character, truly whipcord lean powerful honorable determined full of barely contained passion, male aggression you love to tame and the little voice inside you tells you that you CAN... wow wow wow!

: : : Welllll, now, Vita....much as I wish I could own this painting, each to his own, an' all that.  I'd trade Magua's bod for Hawkeye's in a heartbeat, hands down, no stopping to think, no looking back, and definitely no regrets!
