: Christina writes?
: : Yep, MMMMMMarcia, gotta go with you on this one. Can't sway from the decision I made at first seein' the film in '92 that DDL as Hawkeye was, no question, my perfect man. In triplicate.
: : And for those wonderin' about Hawkeye's Ebay qualifications, I got in a terrible bidding war back in May with an unnamed wench from California over a vintage original "LOTM" poster. Had to stay up until 3 a.m. to wrestle it out of her grimy hands...and now I have it...right across from my bed...DDL/Hawkeye...ALL MINE...
: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
: Christina, tell me it's not the one that says "First American Hero???" I'll be PEA-GREEN with envy, if so!! I've wanted that poster for 7 years!!! In fact, it keeps me looking on eBay all the time. Some day, I'll find it for myself.

: Now the orange poster of him running with the nicely exposed thigh is hanging on my hall wall, just outside my studio door...carefully positioned to look as though he's running into my studio to save me. From what, I'm not sure, unless it's all this work that has piled up while I was bed-ridden.

: Hey, in case you like Ralph Fiennes, too (as *I* do), there are several very nice posters & pictures of him up for bid. I'm hoping to get a really nice English Patient one. Guess I'm going to have to have a new house soon, with a movie memorabilia room to hold all my Oz, LOTM, and English Patient stuff!

: MMMM

Marcia, it's the orange one with the nicely exposed thigh. I've never seen the "first American hero..." one up for auction, but now I'll be lookin'!
Must admit to bein' illiterate on my Ralph Fiennes quotient, although I like him a lot. I've not seen the "English Patient..." yet (wait, stop, don't pelt red-haired lass with tomatoes!) but I'm sure will get around to it sometime soon. Hey, I'm the woman who waited three years to see "Braveheart" because I couldnt' stand to see the end, and you know how I reacted to the end of the book "cold Mountain!" :-)
I like the idea of Hawkeye runnin to save ye from your studio...I like to imagine he's coming down to swoop me away from the pressures of deadlines!!!!
