Hi, Vita! Just want to make certain you understand that *I* am not angry at YOU, or anyone else. I understand completely that you were being your usual enthusiastic self. I just think, for whatever reason, it might have gone a bit far. But again, that's only ONE opinion. Others may not feel that way at all.

: As for the liking or not liking of the book, don't be discouraged about that, either. We ALL love LOTM on the Board, but we have a VERY WIDE difference of opinions on other movies, books, and so forth. Witness the English Patient discussions from a day or two ago...some love it, some loathe it. It still won 11 Oscars including Best Picture, so whether or not we on the Board agree on its artistic merit has very little impact on what the picturing going public feels. I'm sure the same is true for Eden's Winter. Some of us may find it a fabulous read, others not so much so. But I'm certain there is a market for it, and I'm sure the book will do well. It doesn't matter whether we all like it or not.

: The point was merely that the overenthusiasm got a little bit strong for some of us, that's all. I think that may have kept many from even checking out the chapters. And where you said above "You dislike the work because The Publisher is too enthusiastic about The Work..." I hope you were using the Editorial "You," as *I*, personally, did not say anything about liking or disliking the work. I haven't read it. But I do think that anyone who posted that they don't care for that style of writing is not saying that because of YOUR enthusiasm. They are surely saying it only as a personal opinion. My comments about your enthusiasm were only meant as a possible reason why others may not have even checked it out, yet.

: I hope this makes my position a bit clearer. Again, I am not angry with anyone, nor trying to start up any arguing. It was just a thought as to why the discussion you wanted to have never got off the ground. I could be wrong, and would certainly be open to hearing anyone else's thoughts on the matter.
