:    Thank you gentlemen for the responses.Just to add detail to the question, do you think a reverse grip like in the movies or a regular grip would have been more common in that time period? I've been researching western fighting arts and see the regular grip more often.

:    As for BraveHeart & Saving Private Ryan, I'd say OK to the first and outstanding to the second. Saving Private Ryan had me ducking in my seat.
