: I happened across this anecdote in an article about "The General's Daughter and thought some may get a kick out of it:

: When she was filming the 1992 romantic epic Last of the Mohicans, Stowe played a little trick on her hunky costar Daniel Day-Lewis.
: "The man is so gorgeous, I could hardly wait to film our big love scene," recalls Stowe. "The first time we filmed the scene, everything went perfect, but I told Daniel I just didn't feel I was any good in the scene. -- He believed me and let me do it two more times."
