: : ... Mr. & Mrs. Eric Hurley!!!!

: : Note the POWDER HORN ... crafted by Bill Rooks, engraved with the names of all 2000 Mohican Gatherers.

: : Congratulations to two good friends!

: Hi All,

: MMMMarcia and I were fortunate enough to be able to attend this blessed event this past weekend. Eric and Sharon were only aware that I was planning on coming, so you can imagine the surprise on his face when he saw Marcia!!! What was REALLY priceless, as I have already conveyed to Bill, was the look on Eric (and Sharon's) face when he laid eyes on the powder horn with all the Gathering attendees signatures. This gift was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, thanks to the fine skill and giving spirit of our Bill Rooks! He was very moved and appreciative and never let it leave his side the rest of the day!

: Words cannot express how thoroughly lovely the ceremony and setting of the wedding were. It was held in a little mountain valley of the South mountatins with the blazing colors of fall all around. A nice babbley stream ran right behind Eric's handmade vine trellis filled with fall leaves and white mums. Speakers were hung high in the trees so that the woods were filled with the sound of celtic tunes and the whisper of falling leaves. As the service began, both Eric and Sharon were so filled with their love for each other that they positively glowed and seemed to walk on air. Marcia and I bawled like babies the EN-TIRE time!

: I wish Eric and Sharon all the best and feel truly fortunate to have witnessed the joining of two such wonderful people!!!

: Diana S.

Dammit Diana......I would never bawl, so it must be that I have just gotten some dust in my eyes. Excuse me while I blow and wipe. *HONK!!!!! snif snif dab dab* There, better now. Is somebody around here cutting up onions or something?

Sounds lovely. I WISH I could have been there. I WISH we ALL could have been there!! I told Marcia she had BETTER take a LOT of pictures and share them with us all, else we would bombard her with SPAM (the Hormel kind, not the "look we don't want to waste your time, but if you want to make a million dollars in ten minutes read on" kind) and beat her with a rubber parrot (it's not asleep, it's bleeding DEMISED!).

The picture Rich posted several days ago proves what you say though - beautiful setting and they are absolutely beaming and looking made for each other.
