A thousand pardons for interrupting your conversation, but thank you for reminding me of this movie-saw it 100+/- years ago & really liked it. I have been recently studying Crazy Horse and I had forgotten about this movie-can't wait to check it out again... and Rodney Grant in a loincloth, too!....oh my,'s the little things in life that make it worthwhile...

: : : Hi Cheshire:

: : : Have you seen "Son of the Morning Star?" An excellent movie about Custer and the Battle of Little Big Horn, and Rodney Grant as Crazy Horse is real easy on the eyes.

: : I had heard about the movie, but have been unable to find it in the local video stores. Doesn't it focus mostly on Custer? I wouldn't mind watching it if just to compare how each movie portrays the battle and the participation of each of the major players (i.e., Crazy Horse, Custer, etc.).

: Hi Jeri:

: Son of the Morning Star, which is a made-for-TV movie, can be difficult to find. I purchased it from CDNow and they had to special order it. Hereís the plot summary from

: ďThe life of George Armstrong Custer comes alive in this made for television movie. The story accurately follows the facts, only straying from the truth in its suggestion that Custer may have fostered an illegitimate Indian child, a myth which has since been proven false. ď

: Itís well worth the effort to try and track down a copy of the movie because itís well made. The movieís bound to be aired again on TV. Iíll post a message on the board if I found out that itís going to be aired again.

: Best wishes,
