: Hey Bea!

: Now that you mention it, some of the music did sound a little like tracks from LOTM. As well, I've read a couple of articles about Head-Smashed-In- Buffalo-Jump in Alberta. Most people have the romantic vision of fleet-footed ponies and their brave warriors streaking across the grasslands chasing the buffalo herds, striking them down with arrow and lance. That's true, of course, but so was the practice of chasing the buffalo herd at full speed off a cliff. Not nearly as romantic, but very practical.

Absolutely! I was lucky enough to visit the Interpretive Site about three years ago. It's fascinating and very informative. The centre has a little movie about the buffalo hunt and later on a Blackfoot Elder provides you with plenty of info. BTW he has a great sense of humour. His name was shown in the credits for "Canada....". I wasn't too surprised, since he is full of knowledge. He is also chief of the Warrior Society.
