: Very interesting, Clabert, as I have a hubby who goes to Montana every winter(we know all about the tags, stamps, licences, out of state lottery for game......)only, he takes his deer/what ever into town (after he has skinned it and whatever....)to freeze for the trip home. I am just left to cook it...

: looking forward to the continued story....

Hi Jo,
Boy, do I envy you! Our moose meat comes home in game bags, 8 of them this fall. At least the meat was boneless. It took 9 days to butcher and completely filled one of my chest freezers. But it's sure good to eat, and definitely helps the food budget.
Clabert, your story reminds me of deer hunting with my father in upstate NY. Thanks.
Chris
