: : Jeri: I haven't seen the movie, but I read the book ages ago. If I remember correctly, the force was either a secubus or incubus (can never remember which is male and which is female). I may have my books confused, it's been a long time ago, but I know the book's here on a shelf somewhere.

: : Beth: Could give you endless stories. We never discussed any of this with the boys until recently, when I overheard their conversation about their latest sightings. Their bedroom is upstairs, which seems to be the main place for activity. Seems they've been dealing with it for the last 5 years and were afraid to tell us, they thought we'd think they were nuts.

: : Mostly, whoever/whatever it is just walks around upstairs, day and night. You can follow the footsteps across the floor. They move the boys things around, but never hide anything, just rearrange. They tend to like Philip's things more than Andy's. They move his shoes all the time. He takes them upstairs every night, and at least once a week we'll find one in the bathroom and another in a different room downstairs. Once, when I was unloading groceries from the car, someone behind me asked if I needed help. I said sure and turned around to give them a bag, but there was no one there. Dan was inside, and the boys were on the mountain. So much for help. I've also seen someone pass the upstairs window when I was outside during the day and there was no one else home. I guess if the dogs got upset, it would be much more frightening, but like I said before, they just treat it as normal.

: : I also believe there's something that goes through our back pasture. The horses watch at full attention with their hair standing up. This time of year is especially bad, because it's hunting season, and this valley has been prime hunting grounds for centuries. Whatever it is, it always moves west to east right along the creek. I'd love to know what the horses and dogs see around here, they're much more in tune with it than I am.

: : Now Beth, we've lined up Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream for tonight, along with Frankenstein Unbound for later in the week. Nothing better than a good horror movie on Halloween!

: We-e-e-e-l-l-l Nightsky dear,

: So much for my and Cecelia's visit we were planning to your neck of the woods. The operative word there is *WERE*. If we ever do make it up your way, I hope your guest room is downstairs!!!!

: Missed you at CRP Sunday before last!

: Diana S.

Now Lady Di, surely you're not afraid of some harmless inhabitants! Our guest room is upstairs, but we always let the guests use our room, and BT and I stay upstairs. You have to come! And bring that little red haired mini-Di with you! NS
