The first thing we did when we moved here was build two paddocks close to the house. BT thought I was crazy until the Saturday before Thanksgiving when it sounded like WWIII had broken out in the valley. We just keep them close to home during hunting season. My App mare just disappears in the tall grass, and I won't risk anything happening to her. NS
