The Gnomes are back, the Gnomes are back!!
When they were gone, I felt the lack
Of wee little people in tall red hats,
Teasing the Doc, or chasing the cats,
But now it's clear, the Gnomes are here,
And so I'll give a great big cheer,
And check Miss Katie's for brand new bedding,
(Didn't you know? There's been a WEDDING!!)

A bridal veil of dandelion down,
And white rose petals for her gown,
Our Betty Gnome was such a beauty,
Then there's Billy, that ol' Cutie!
Moleskin trousers and a teeny red vest,
No doubt about it, he looked his best!
Under a mushroom down by the stream,
In a place made special by the first star's gleam,
The Gnome & His Lady pledged love undying,
While in the sky were white doves flying,
They drank parsnip wine from thimbles small,
And were hugged and wished the best by all,
Then off they sailed on the Glimmerglass,
Just a wee small Gnome with his wee small lass.

*sigh*
