Now, Bill...you KNOW that my post was ONLY intended to encourage posters to avoid taking political sides on the Board. As for system bashing, no one is more patriotic than I, and more in love with the overall ideals & system we have in this country. However, it ain't PERFECT, and if you were in Florida right now, you would see just how IMPERFECT it can get. There's more going on than ever makes the national news, sartain. I disagree entirely with your take on what has gone wrong here, but that's a discussion for another place, another time. For the nonce, can't we just keep our jokes nonpartisan, or skip 'em altogether. That way perhaps we won't offend anyone too seriously? That's all I meant.
