: : : : I will admit I saw the last of The Mohicans for the first time a week ago, I had read the book, over the Summer and will say I was amazed at the beauty of the film...I have fallen in love with the characters, and wonder if men like hawkeye really do exist? If they do I would love to find one. I know women like Cora exist because I am one of a way a hopless romantic but yet a free spirit not ready to give her heart away to just anyone. Will men really still die for there women, I could all but hope... For my dream would to someday find a man like that...and experience a phenominal passionate love as great as Cora's and Hawkeyes...I love all of Cooper's works, and am an aspiring author.I would love to chat with some of you please respond to my message I am looking for fellow Mohican friends! Love Maureen

: : : Hi Maureen,

: : : If you're looking for fellow LOTM lovers, you've certainly come to the right place. We're all Mohicanlanders here and just love discussing the movie itself, the story and of course, the wonderful actors. Do men like Hawkeye and Uncas exist today? Well, I hope they do. That's what keeps me looking..LOL!
: : : (Mind you DDL and ES are a hard act to follow eh?)

: Well of course Clabair! You handsome devils. The problem for us lonley ladies is to find ladds like you who are still available. Now that's a difficult mission to accomplish!!

: ..Jeri (the good ones are always taken eh?)

Well, thank you Jeri. I was thinking more on the lines of being the romantic type myself. But it never hurts to advertise now and then, because one never knows if the next time they turn the corner they will find themselves alone or not. (Is that a tease or what?!)

A lost romantic and always willing to fight for friends and family.
