: : Ahhh, Huggy, I thought sure you would have quote which would relate to this most wonderful of days, St. Andrew's Day!!
: : Unless.....unless, It was William Wallace who was speaking of Edward I (Longshanks) ...."I'll moider the bum!!"

: : Pax Aye!

: : Dr. UM and Cpl. MacWm.

: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

: LMAO!......I guess if Braveheart had been directed by Martin Scorcese and starred Robert deNiro, then that could have been the case!

: But you are right Dr UM and Cpl Mac, I should not have let St Andrews Day pass by without a mention, so especially for you..........

: For so long as one hundred men remain alive, we shall never under any conditions submit to the domination of the English. It is not for glory or riches or honours that we fight, but only for liberty, which no good man will consent to lose but with his life.

: THE DECLARATION OF ARBROATH, 1320

Huggy! What a GREAT quote! One of my faves! Back in college I had a placard with a huge blue and white St. Andrews cross on it and that saying hanging on my door...a friend brought it back for me from Edinburgh. Caused a lot of head-scratching among my Smiths-obsessed housemates who had no idea that Scottish history even existed! Pax aye and thanks!
