For those of us interested in the time period of the 1700's, finding information about the people of the period and their lives becomes quite an adventure. I wanted to see if I could find any sites that had 1st person accounts of the time period and what the settlers to the area had to endure. What I came across recently was a site called Indian Capture and Murders, Western Pennsylvania Frontier. The site contains a number of 1st person accounts of several deadly encounters between white settlers and natives. For those interested in reading the stories, the link is below:
