I have seen the film in entirety several times. My impression of it was partly this: If you have seen the film Reds (Warren Beatty and I believe Goldie Hawn?) then Revolution struck me as of the same genre. It was about as good a representation of the topic of the American Revolution as Reds was of the Russian Revolution. There were some good points, maybe, as to clothing and equipments, as to the general theme of the Americans being an undisciplined mob in the beginning against the vastly more professional and experienced British Army, but overall I didnt much care for Reds and didnt much care for Revolution. The A&E series is much better for information and accuracy. Still, a good watch, as I still like to watch Flying Tigers with John Wayne and you certainly can't say that is terribly accurate or representative of what it was REALLY like flying for Chiang Kai Shek in the China Theatre.

: Thanks Lady Ann,

: I believe I have seen bits and pieces of this film, but really cannot remember any of it. I will rent it over the holidays and review its merit, maybe it's a diamond in the rough, who knows!!
