Helpppp!!!

I just read the post from Nancy to the niece and nephew.....They melted into tears and fits of romanticism. Soon after, I found them both glued in front of the TV watching "The Young and the Restless"....I demanded to know why they were watching such trash. They replied that it was so much like Seamus and Nancy's romance!!

Help!! My wonderful Hiram and Hannah are now hooked on soap operas. They don't want to accompany me next weekend to reenact the Battle of Fort Ligonier (Loyalhanna!) unless they can take along their TV and watch their soaps!!! Thanks a lot Seamus!!! Hannah and Hiram were on their way to become historical researchers, now they want to write romance novels.....bosom busters....kissy, huggy stuff....slobbery mush!!! Next, they'll be watching Oprah!!! May St. Andrew forbid it!!

Come on, Seamus....the MacWilliam Chronicles are to be historical fiction at its best, action, swashbuckling blood and gore....not "romance novels"....(course, if Nancy would be "Stowe"-like...hmmmm!)

On a more serious note....HA!...come see Seamus, Many Flags, Three Tales and Timothy this weekend at Fort Freeland near Watsontown, PA. AND NEXT WEEKEND (Oct. 14, 15)....the whole 77th Grenadier Company (Cpl. MacWm., Davey Gunn, Capt. Croy, etc.) will be reenacting the Battle of Fort Ligonier (Loyalhanna) at Ligonier, PA near Pittsburgh...come one, come all....but leave the damn romance at home!!!! Get thee behind me, Seamus!!!

Pax Aye!
