A long time ago, when Fleetwood Mac was a blues, rather than a pop, band, they did a tune called, "The Rattlesnake Shake." Now, finally, I understand!! A little soda, a little ice-cream, a lot of ... RATTLESNAKE? Yuk! I don't eat reptiles!

: : Hi Mike,

: : How wonderful that you and your group will be part of the video used to teach children about the history of the Pennsylvania frontier!

: : I also enjoyed hearing about Capt. Mercer's ordeal and how he survived. But rattlesnake meat? ((SHUDDER))

: Jeri...

: Rattlesnake meat is quite tasty. It reminds one of...no, not chicken...but of tuna without the fish taste....OK...chicken.(I just didn't want to say it.) It is white and very good....gotta be aware of a few bones, though, if you get one from the wild. It is available in some gourmet stores or catalogs. Out in the woods, the worst part is getting the critter to donate it in the first place. They can be nasty and could hurt a fella. But once convinced properly, the hide comes off fairly easily, like pulling off a sock. Mmmmm..mouth is watering, gotta go...

: Pax Aye!
