Hi Victoria,

I'm putting it on my reading list, as well. It is getting such rave reviews. Thanks for the tidbit on the horse. When you think about it, all of these things took place not so very long ago! It is all so amazing!

Have a great evening, all!

Blessings,

Ayesha

: Thanks Ayesha, I'm putting it on my reading list. I used to read a lot about the plains Indians, but of late I have found that time period kinda painful to read about or discuss. Guess that's why when I read history I stick with stuff about a hundred years earlier. Custer had a tie to Kentucky. He served at a fort in Elizabethtown, KY after the civil war. He acquired his horse there, Victory, known as Old Vic. Only one horse is known to have survived the Battle of LBH, but some have speculated that this horse might have been taken by the Crow scouts and been included in their breeding stock so his decendants might be racing today.
