: : Hi everyone,

: : Well.... its been a loooooong time since i've posted! how is everyone doing? I've lost the hardrive on my computer TWICE which hasn't helped much. Well... a lot has changed for me since the Gathering... as some of you know my grandpa wasn't doing so well when we all came down for the Gathering this past June. In August, my grandma passed on and just a few weeks after that my grandpa went too. And since i was one of the people who had to carry the casket... i cut my hair. Let me tell you... its been one hard summer this past year! But things are looking better and I'm still planning on being at the Gathering this June. I cant wait to see you all again!!!

: : Take care
: : Nathan

: How could we ever forget you, Nathan? You, your father & your friend added a very special element to our Gathering last June, and we are all looking forward to seeing you again this year.

: I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. Grandparents fill a very special place in our hearts, don't they? I was not lucky enough to know either of my grandfathers, but my maternal grandmother was one of my favorite people in the whole, wide world. I was blessed to have her around until just a few years ago, and she is remembered and missed often. (It's amazing how many of my sentences begin with, "As my grandmother used to say...") I know after you have come to terms with the loss, your own special memories of your grandparents will be treasured always.

: See you in June...WITH as much hair as possible, PLEEEZE. ;o)

: Marcia

Howdy Nathan! Glad to see you back. I've never met you but hopefully I will at the upcoming Gathering, and as a devoted Hair Advocate, I second Miss Marcia's plea to come with as much as possible! (too many guys in my city are walking around looking like someone took to their scalps with a weed whacker...)

On a more serious note, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your grandparents. You may or may not know I lost my mom this past February so am much too acquainted with the experience of losing a family member...the best advice I can give is to TREASURE all of your memories of them and be aware that just the physical person is gone, not the spirit or the love they brought you.

I hope the rest of this year brings much happier times to you! Glad to see you here again!
peace, Christina
