: This day in 1768....

: English cavalry sergeant Philip Astley staged the first modern circus, performing elaborate feats on the backs of horses racing around a ring. Giant tent shows toured America throughout the nineteenth century, while smaller circuses flourished worldwide. The last major additions were flying trapeze and high-wire acts, introduced around 1860.

: So the thought is.....

: Whatever you do, do it with all your might. Work at it, early and late, in season and out of season, not leaving a stone unturned, and never deferring for a single hour that which can be done just as well now.

Hmmmph!!

And I always thought it was, "Don't do today what can be put off until tomorrow." No wonder..........Hmmmmmmmmmm....well, I guess I'll try ol' P.T.'s advice and see if things improve around here.

Thanks, Huggy! Pax Aye, et al!
