Ahhhh, Diana, dearest one. YOu have so MUCH goodness in you and so MUCH to be loved....I will overlook your penchant for the slobbery, witless ones.

I'll bring the difference to a focus you can understand. The "locked out of cabin" fiasco. Now, Diana dearest drove us all over creation aimlessly trying to find a key -it was almost Chaplinesque - much as a dog, excited and lovable - runs in circles, chases its tail, wags its ears at you and SO wants to please. You gotta love the antics and the obvious desire to help in any way. But then we have Eric - catlike he goes right to the problem and runs up a skinny little tree, lithely jumps from tree to deck without missing a step, gracefully goes inside and opens the damn door!!!

I rest my case.

Oh, one addendum. This business of consume, de-consume, consume, de-consume........Dogs have the SAME repetitive process but it cost FAR more in consumables, when they de-consume they do so wherever they stand at the moment unlike cats who KNOW where to go to de-consume and cover the smelly mess, and cats at least consume that which they are SUPPOSED to! Unlike dogs who will consume everything in sight including your slippers, the coffee table, the cat's consumables, even their OWN de-consumed consumables. Yuk. And THEN they want to come over and KISS you and LICK YOUR FACE!!! I dont THINK so!
