Dear Chauncy,

I assume you are meaning Long live the King (of gnomes!) right? Or is it that you are letting the emblem on your horn go to your head perhaps? Not planning on burning any churches are you, or shooting any little boys I hope? :) We all know you English have a penchant for such atrocities (and THAT statement oughta get our lovable Huggy's back up!)

stir the pot, stir the pot
see what is, and what is not
pit them one against t'other
till one does the other smother

its so much fun to mix the brew
and watch the mob get in a stew
then back away and watch the fun
as heads are whacked one by one

it's an ancient art, is instigation
and fun to watch the conflagration
Old Sam Adams really had that knack
for inflaming folks to go on the whack.

But never once did he mix in
no guns for him, nor join the din
nor risk himself once war had started
he just sat back, drank rum, and farted.

: How's this for trivia? Sebastian Roche played someone named Martin in LOTM. In 1997 he was in a short-lived series called "Roar" (c. 400 AD Celtic somewhere) which starred Heath Ledger, who played Gabriel _Martin_ in "The Patriot". (And of course that starred Mel the Beautiful who is already on the Six Degrees page here.) And then Sebastian goes on to play, as noted, Col. Glover in "The Crossing". Seems everyone wants to be a colonial patriot.

: (Yankee scum! Long live the King!)

: : He was certainly more fortunate than Sebastian Roche who played the part of Martin. Martin shows up in the script. However, my friends and I looked and looked and looked for him but couldn't find him. Later, we got it on good authority that his scene was cut. BUMMER!

: : Diana

: : PS you can see him as Col John Glover in the A&E production THE CROSSING.
