: : Thanks for the update & info, Rich! Folks, I can't echo Rich's sentiments enough, especially regarding our new accommodations, which I am now thinking of as Mohicanland Central. The Geneva isn't a luxury hotel, by any means, but it has everything we need for a perfect Gathering spot. You can even eat dinner on the premises every night, if you wish, sitting in a little gazebo, overlooking the Rocky Broad River & directly under Chimney Rock, itself. The view is wonderful, believe me! And the folks there are friendly, helpful, and VERY interested in making the Geneva the HOME for any future Gatherings.

: : If you really want to enjoy this Gathering to the max, I hope you will plan to make Mohicanland Central your home for five nights. It will give you a wonderful opportunity to visit with your fellow gatherers every evening, cool off in the pool, have a drink, snack or full meal at the grill, or retire to your room for some R & R. You can stroll through the village of Chimney Rock for other restaurants & area shops, as well.

: : Let me say that we WILL have the Conference Room, which will house the Trader's Cabin, Ariel's Cabin, Raffle Headquarters and Show & Tell Displays, open EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. You will be able to peruse the "exhibits" at your leisure, knowing your room is only a few feet away, so no need to rush off. You will be able to buy raffle tickets, period merchandise, & wonderful fund-raising items EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, so no need to wait until the very last moment Sunday evening to make your selections.

: : Your accommodation selection will allow you to stay by yourself, should you prefer total privacy, share a room with only your spouse or a friend, have a small group of four "roomies", or go for a larger group of 7 roomies. Plenty of options, eh?

: : Call me a cockeyed optimist, but I'm really hoping to fill the Geneva to the rafters with Gatherers, both for the sake of a really good time, and to keep from having to use raffle funds to pay for any empty rooms. Either way, we want it exclusively for ourselves for the weekend. (No Golf Cart police chasing us around and complaining about us "talking after curfew.")

: : So, what say you, fellow Gatherers? Mighty Mohican Mama Marcia says, MOHICANLAND CENTRAL, all the way!! ;o) Will you consider this? Please consider this!

: : MMMM

: And as for this one particular Mohicanite, I was fortunate enough to get to see the Geneva firsthand in October with Miss MMMarcia and Diana S., and I can attest both to its convenience and its charm! a VERY cool little place in a lovely location. And the little bar out by the river behind the place is also terrific. I'll be more than happy to return there! So DO consider this place...
: can't wait,
: Christina

And here's another *Here, Here* for the Geneva. I was there, I saw what it was! When talk goes on about plans for the Gathering, I can JUST picture the encampment out back in the spacious yard over-looking the Rocky Broad and "under-looking" the *Chimney*. The comraderie of Mohican-friends milling around the pool, the bar and grill, under the trees, down by the river, at the bar ...(Ooops, I said that already). Seriously, I CAN picture a great time for all. Why I git ri-i-ite giddy when I think about it! Things just get better and better every year, and I know this one will be another topper and the Geneva could be a GREAT new home for us!
Thanks for all your hard work Marcia and Rich in making these plans come about!

Di
