Wonderful, just wonderful. Robert Burns had great wit, and a penchance for the lassies.....ahh, a man's a man for a' that!!

Did you know....that the word GRINGO comes from this song. During the Battle of Alamo, the Mexicans heard the Scots and Irish (American) soldiers singing Green Grow the Rashes O' and began to call them "Green Grows"...hence, the term Gringo for an alien person.....Slante' mhath!!
