: I know! I know! It would be great I think! I can see something coming from French Trader along the lines of Poulet Bourginon and Creme Brule and so forth, plus he has lots of recipes I bet that are NA or French. The Canadian Traders, English Traders, Ilse with her Dutch recipes (after all folks, it was the Dutch who founded New York, and their influence is still felt!) Ros has some good ones I bet. Oh yeah. It could work. And wonderfully. I'd damn sure buy one or two.

: And Kate? My colonial game pie is rich with Port Wine. The wild mushroom saute, depending on use, has beer or wine in it.

hehehe!! Ahhh, from my encounters with the Les Francais, I'd say it sounds like a fair assessment to me, Bill!! :o)

Ooooh, your Game Pie sounds WONDERFUL - with or withOUT the Port wine!! ;o) I LOVE Game Pie!! I also have some Scottish recipes for Game Pie - it's one of OUR 'specialties' too. And some wonderful Scottish recipes for salmon... We're not just a nation of 'haggis and porridge eaters', y'know! (Truth be told, I REALLY don't like EITHER!!)
