: Just a short postin' to update ye about the recent absent nature of yer Tavern Wench and my niece, the Red-Haired Lass. I'm her Aunt Aggie what is visitin' from Carolina. Mrs O'Reilly had given the Lass some "mental health" days from Bumppo's partly because she was beginnin' to hallucinate that she was findin' wee clothes in her cistern water. The day she claimed to have found the wee loofah sponges an' back scrubbers, was the day she got sent home with instructions to rest a bit. Durin' her leave, I came down from Carolina with the latest shipment of Smooth Laddie Wax, and in the unloadin' of it, Red threw her back out. So she's been confined to the cabin gettin' therapeutic massages from the Huron Delivery Boy and that nice Nathaniel what's been at a loss for anything to do since the Good Doctor has been away. Now, it seems her head is clear and her back is much better. We just can't get her to come out of the durned cabin, y'see. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
