April 1st 1759
The news has spread throughout the stockade, the Major has been placed in custody and awaits his court-martial! The entire Fort is a buzz with this news! T'was only two nights ago, apon his capture, as Seamus and Tails drug him towards the main gate that they inturn were suprised to find themselves face to face with two armed sentries!
As Seamus blurted out the words "All can be explained!!" A responce was heared from behind the sentries, saying "There is no need to explain anything Seamus." It was Capt.Croy with Major Campbell and myself, Drum Major Armstrong. As Seamus looked on me with that puzzled look,all I could say was,"Did you honestly think I'd sit by and let you take all the fun for yourselves?" As Major Campbell boldly stated "We were aware of this action and we witnessed your undoing from the Fort wall." Just then, Maj.Grant realizing his fate, looked apon myself,Seamus and Tails and vowed his most horrid revenge on we three! So as the Sentries drag this lowly scum off to the Guard House via a wash basin, Seamus turned to me and under his breath he says "If my memory serves me,I recall telling someone to stay out of this?" And to this I replied " I tried, but let us return to my tent,and with this new found flask, I shall explain all!" As Seamus glanced at the flask and saw an inscription that read "To Major Grant from his loyal Men",as Seamus with a grin looks once again in my eyes, I can only retort,"Fitting, don't you think?"
