Camp at Reastown, Ft. Bedford

Journal Entry:

I have been ill for several days and have just met with Capt. Croy. There is some story about a Major Grant being held here, I am not sure of all this story and I am wondering if it is the same Major Grant from Fort Ligonier of last year. However, I believe that Grant is still held as captive by the French. It is confusing and Captain Croy has asked me to look into it. Methinks it is a hoax and this man is an imposter.
