Thanks Rich, my dad and brothers and I, the last time we gathered for Christmas bought our list and compared them. Many of your list were on the compiled top list:

: Braveheart - Fast and Loose with the facts, but great heart.
: Rob Roy - The closest movie in style to LOTM that I can recall.
: Lonesome Dove - Would've have won an oscar if it were on the big screen.
: The Alamo -
: Meet Joe Black - never seen it
: Gladiator - Can't wait to see this one
: Son of the Morning Star - Is this the Errol Flynn one?
: Alien & Aliens - The best of their genre
: It, The Terror From Beyond Space (the forebearer of the Aliens films)- never seen it
: Most all Abbott & Costello films - I prefer the Marx Bros
: The Wizard of Oz - Of Course
: 13 Days To Glory - Never seen it.
: Dances With Wolves -
: Jurassic Park - The music was great, and the Tyransaur is Rex
: Titanic - Any movie that lovingly takes your back in time with attention to detail is worth the price. Loved the engine room with the big gears, but the T had torbines.
: Seven - Never seen it. I thought the trailers looked gross
: Gettysburg - Great.
: Glory - One of the Best Ever. On All of our top 5s
: Saving Private Ryan - Geez, but it needed to be done. Even the landing craft was authentic, when I was a Midshipman, i was in landing crafts for a summer, I could smell the diesel and vomit when I watched the movie.
: Easy Rider -
: Bonnie & Clyde -
: I Will Fight No More Forever - Neve seen it
: Zulu, Zulu Dawn, & Shaka Zulu - Great movies, and between AMC and The History Channel, we can watch them every night.
: Fort Apache - I fell in love with Shirly Temple
: They Died With Their Boots On -

Some from my list
The Quiet Man, The Searchers, and Donavan's Reef - John Waynes best
The Right Stuff - Topped mine and my little bros list
Raiders of the lost Ark
And a bunch of Musicals (our families favorite which we watch if we're ever together on the 4th - "1776")
