Although I was born in NYC, and was something of a Yankees/Mantle fan as a kid, I've lived in Connecticut since I was 5.

The birthplace of Ethan Allen, IIRC.

The only baseball team I root for these days is my son's little league team.

It's been way too long since I've seen those beautiful North Carolina hills. I think the last time was when I was 16, though I spent a little time on the coast about 20 years ago.

Now, what's this about an Ethan Allen movie? I haven't heard anything about it. We sure could use some more films set in this period.
