: Aye, 'tis the same here here in Penn's Woods!! I taught an adult ed. course on the Carlisle Indian School the other evening, and when leaving the school, I had to pause, smell the air and feel the warmth of spring. For, it's a wonderful time of year, a time to be grateful for life and good friends. So, Pax Aye! Next week it's on to Fort Hunter, then on to the British Brigade event near Philadelphia....the sweet smell of spring will mingle with the sweet smell of gunpowder and sweat as we battle the Colonials!! Then....it's on to the Gathering!!

It's so nice to hear people extolling the beauties of spring and creation...I was in the Ga. mountains last weekend (which,if you have never gone, are beautiful...) and we took a walk down near the Etowah river and could smell clover, dogwood and many other flowering plants. then on Sunday we drove through verdant green fields and hills to Chattanooga...and now here in South Carolina although most of our spring flowers are gone (they came way early this year...) we still have gentle warm breezes and the smell of wisteria on the air...I have been learning the true virtues of enjoying the beauty around you especially to relieve stress...hope to see all of you in the beauty of Mohicanland in just a few weeks...
