Effective at midnight tonight, the reservation period - over 3 and a half LONG months worth - officially comes to an end. The Gathering Pages have been updated to reflect this. That means, barring any last minute shuffling, or some REALLY good sob stories :), we'll end up with 88 Gatherers, about 32 of whom will be with us for the first time. In addition, we'll have David & Ginger Hildebrand with us for at least a part of the time, plus the Studis ... pushing the group to, at times, 93 souls.
As far as our couriers tell us, everyone who wants to be in the movie theater is paid up; everyone who wants to be at Cedar Creek is paid up; your response to the Raising Wes thing was exactly what we hoped for; T-shirts are being made, so unless there's an extra or two, you're plum out of luck if you haven't yet ordered; BUT ... there are several folks dragging their little footsies on paying for the Chimney Rock and/or Geneva goodies. PLEASE, do this right away. It's a huge financial undertaking that needs to be squared away with those facilities. By dragging your feet, you put the burden on someone else ... though I'm sure that's not intentional, that is the end result. So, do it today, and we can close the "organizational" chapter on this Gathering & get on with the fun parts!
... It's a dreary, rainy (much needed, however) weekend here in Mohicanland ... the kind we very much hope is not in store for us in mid-June!
Get those last minute preparations completed early! You know, little things like visas, and licenses ... and underwear?
