#27 - The flowering Paulownia tree or Empress tree (some folks call it a Princess tree, huh Marcia?) now found in the wilds of western NC was introduced by George Vanderbilt.

Marcia and I had lunch one afternoon in Lake Lure surrounded by these unusual trees...while Marcia kept killing the bees trying to share my lunch which were about to make me have a seizure. I git just a LEETLE bit unnerved by the critters! Not allergic to 'em, just been stung about eleventy-seven times.

In just 5 more days,
We'll be gathering about.
While every fem-i-nine eye,
will scan every Kilt and Clout!

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!
