: : Rich,

: : Didn't the Hildebrands say that was indeed the name of the tune when they played it at the Gathering? Perhaps they could shed some light on it.

: No, actually ... I had sent the midi file to the Hildebrands sometime before the Gathering and asked them if they could learn it & play it at the Gathering. [which they did! :)] David asked me then, and after performing it, what else I knew about it ... alas, that was a big zero ... until now. Now I know it came from Miss Katie. Before that? Who knows?

: : : Diana, I wish I knew!! We have the midi file called, "Tran-snow-stacks." That's ALL we know. I don't even know where we got it!!! It was in our attachments box, and while cleaning it out, discovered it. That's it! No idea of its origin, time period, or anything else. All I know is, I too love it!

: : : : Probably Rich and/or Elaine can answer the following question:

: : : : There is a frontier type tune that is played while one visits the messageboard. What is it? I love it and where can I get a copy?

: : : : Regards,

Rich & co,

Try opening the "tran-snow-stacks" sound file in an audio recording/editing software. Sometimes will tell you who the author was and so on. E-mail me the audio file & I WILL TRY TO NAME THAT TUNE IN THREE NOTES!!! By the way, what is the "No-Prize"?!? My guess is probably another unidentified LOTM MIDI sound file that you will also like named:)
