Having been "set straight" by TGAT One on several occasions - hmmmm - no, let me rephrase that. Having been, shall we say, ENLIGHTENED by said GAT One previously, I can fully appreciate your coming to complete agreement on this issue of import so quickly, Doc. I do feel for you!
May I suggest, as first order of business ... well, maybe adding another wall or two might override this ... BUT AFTER THAT ... We might consider hiring another tavern wench, if only on a temporary basis. Good for business, you know. You DO know that, don't you, Doc? Our old wench, has been in contact, and may yet resume her wenchly duties, but she's a bit incapacitated by the recent strife at the moment.
Of course, I am not precluding you from the position, rough around the edges as you are becoming, just didn't want you to feel obligated ... your plate, we understand, is quite full already.
We should act with haste ... Uncas and the Mohicans ought to be passing through here any time now ... Another year pass ... Trading has been good! Nice horse! Where's Jo? I leave it in your care ...
